Energy Storage China supports World Energy Storage Day on 22nd September
The energy storage industry is no longer in its infancy. Market opportunities are being realized in different markets across the globe. The current global installed capacity is of the order of 5.8 GW (excluding PHES) with an estimate of 2GW in emerging markets. USA, United Kingdom, Europe, China, Australia and India are huge markets for energy storage.
Energy storage has been approved as the key towards China stabilizing its grid network through balancing traditional power generators, increasing integration of renewable energy resources with grid systems and expanding the portfolio of distributed energy resources.
The current status and future prospects of storage applications and technologies in China, as well as the policy shaping the country’s energy storage market, will have important implications for the development of the global industry.
The role that energy storage plays in the future of China’s power industry - as well as new transportation and urbanization sectors - will ultimately be determined by government policies. The combination of a healthy policy environment, experienced technology vendors and a strong demand from multiple application areas offers excellent prospects for China’s energy storage market in the coming years.
With Energy Storage rising to the forefront of industry developments, Global Energy Storage Alliance proposes World Energy Storage Day to be celebrated on 22rd September globally to highlight the importance of energy storage in the power sector, its potential and impact on sustainability of global energy resources.
As a member of GESA and China's link to the World of Energy Storage (WOES), Energy Storage China (ESC) will full support World Energy Storage Day and will keep playing a significant role in informing and connecting industry professionals as the country develops a clean, efficient and reliable energy system.
With the development in recent years, ESC has become a major influence in the energy storage industry and simultaneously helps China's energy storage industry to meet international standards. ESC helps enterprises to understand global trends by providing a face-to-face networking platform for policy makers, planners, grid managers and the world's largest power companies.
Under the theme of "Be Part of the Energy Revolution", ESC 2018 will be held on 19-21 September, 2018 at Tangshan Southlake Convention and Exhibition Center. At ESC 2018 - International Expo and Conference on Energy Storage in China will invite more than 6,000 global professional visitors from 25 countries. Over 150 speakers will participate, including a wide range of industry leaders, policy makers and scholars, to discuss the latest industry developments.
ESC welcomes all the stakeholders to join ESC 2018 & to be part of the Energy Revolution!
